What are spoilers?
A
Opening panels that extend from upper surface of the wing and have the affect of spoiling/ disturbing airflow over the wing, thereby reducing lift

A
Roll Control
Air Speed Brakes
Ground Lift Dumpers

What do leading edge slats do?
A
Increase the wings chamber area and Mean Aerodynamic Chord, therefore increasing Cl which reduces stall speed
