Rotor-wing pilot required training hours
2000 total hours
1000 hours as pilot in command (PIC)
100 hours PIC at night

Rules of flight following
- Sterile cockpit during critical phases of flight
- 15 minutes max comms interval during flight
- 45 minutes max comms interval while on the ground

TFB - Throttle, fuel, battery
Take survival bag and meet at 12 o’clock

Shelter, Fire, Water, Food

Part 91 - no passengers
Part 135 - passengers (max 14hrs for pilots)
