What is the difference between Somalia and Somaliland?
A
Somaliland, is the northern part of today’s Somalia. It was originall a British colony, until the whole of Somalia became a country. Somaliland refused to join, and wanted to be recognized as a seperate country. No other country recognizes Somaliland’s existence. Thusly, Somaliland is not a real nation.
