Cardiorespiratory Endurance
The efficiency with which circulatory and respiratory systems can deliver nutrients and oxygen to the body and the efficiency with which they remove waste products.
Muscular Strength
The ability of a muscle to produce force
Muscular Endurance
The ability of a muscle or group of muscles to sustain force over a period of time.
Flexibility
The range of motion about a joint.
Body Composition
The various proportions of bone, muscle and body fat in the body.
Agility
The ability to move fast and change direction. combination of balance, speed, flexibility, strength and coordination.
Balance
The ability of the body to remain in the desired state or position.
Coordination
Ability of the body to perform tasks accurately and smoothly.
Reaction time
The time elapsed between a stimulus and a response.
Speed
The quickness of movement or how fast the athlete can move.
Power
The ability to exert a maximal force in as short a time as possible, as in accelerating, jumping and throwing implements.
Power = force x distance/time.
