What is muscular strength?
The most amount of force produced in one repetition. use 1RM to measure.
What is muscular endurance?
Going through repetitions or time until there is fatigue Example; pushup test or back extension, wall squat over time till fatigue, number of reps, or time till fatigue.
What is muscular power?
combination of strength and time; how fast you can propel or push something max amount of strength in the least amount of time.
What is an isometric contraction?
tension is applied to force but no movement, no shortening or lengthening. Grip strength back extension.
what is an isotonic contraction?
the force applied and there is lengthening and shortening together.
what is a concentric contraction?
shortening of the muscle
