Safety Pins

A

Trigger Safety - prevents trigger from moving rearward unless it is pressed correctly
Drop Safety - prevents the forearm from firing if suddenly jolted or dropped
Firing pin safety - works with the trigger safety and drop safety to prevent the firing pin from striking the round unless the trigger has been depressed
