If you identify that there is a fire on your train, do you stop immediately or at the next convenient opportunity?

Tell the driver the reason
Tell the driver to arrange for the emergency services to attend

Tell the signaller and carry out any necessary protection.
If any passengers have left the train, what must you make sure of?
Make sure they are in a POS and not at risk from electrified lines or trains running on other lines. Make sure they stay in a safe position until arrangements can be made to escort them from the site.
If the fire is out and the train can proceed safely, who must you tell?
Tell the signaller as soon as possible.
