High rate, low rate. When the bottle switch is pressed the high rate bottle rapidly discharges halon to extinguish the fire, then the low rate bottle slowly discharges to suppress subsequent fires for a minimum of 60mins + 15 min hold.

How does the equipment bay smoke detection work?

2 smoke detectors side by side in the mix manifold bay. Detect smoke that could enter the cabin from equip bays. Both need to detect for an indication, but one will work if other failed.
