How does continence differ from chastity?
continence is an act of the will and not a power in the concupiscible appetite. Continent has attacks of passions and resits, chaste will not have surges of sexual delight.

quarelling, swelling of the mind, contumely, clamor, indignation, blasphemy
How does humility and pride fit into study of temperance?
as potential parts: humility restrains one from striving for lofty things against the dictate of reason (DOES NOT prevent erroneous judgment that’s prudence) AND pride uses talents for selfish motives or inordinate desire for one’s own excellence; doesn’t observe rule of right reason. BOTH in irascible appetite.

Why is modesty of dress important?
to follow dictates of reason in view of particular circumstances in matter of attire. Clothing worn for protection from weather, decency, one’s position, beauty, adornment
