APA Guidelines when dealing with subjects
- must submit details of experiment to an IRB
- no psychological or physical demanding experiments
- subjects must be debriefed
- deception may be used
- double blinds are helpful to minimize bias
opperational defenition
describing something in terms of opperation (1 foot=12 in)
control group
the group that you dont want to get the independent variable
independent variable
what your looking to change through the experiment. the factor you give to your experimental group
dependent variable
how the subject responds to the independent variable
experimental group
the group that gets the independent variable.
