Trainee: The final step is to perform the AC/DP tests as per the previous process. The recommended stimulation parameters are a frequency of 35Hz, a pulse duration of 120 µsec, a train length and interval of 2 seconds each, and an amplitude of 1%.

Instructor: What should you do if the appropriate anatomical response is not achieved during testing?
A
→ Trainee: If the response is not achieved at amplitudes higher than 20%, I would consider repositioning the IS. However, if the patient continues to show a sub-optimal response despite repositioning, the implant should not be placed.
