- Oral AE: hypokalemia, hyperglycemia, adrenal suppression (prolonged use), Cushing-like syndrome
NI:
- evaluate for thrush with prolonged use
- have pt rinse mouth after use
- monitor for glood glucose

- MOA: Dilate bronchial smooth muscle by inhibiting PDE3/4
- AE: Narrow therapeutic window, interacts with everything (caffeine)
- Tachycardia -> convulsions and death
- DDI B2 agonist (excessive tachycardia)
- Monitor HR
- Monitor blood levels (narrow therapeutic window)
