What is the definition of health?
A state of complete mental, physical and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity.
What is the definition of fitness?
The ability to meet the demands of the environment.
What is the definition of exercise?
A form of physical activity done to maintain or improve health and / or physical fitness, it is not competitive sport.
How do the 3 terms health, fitness and exercise work together to achieve a balanced healthy lifestyle?
If you take part in regular exercise you will increase your fitness levels and increase health benefits reducing the risk of illnesses such as Coronary Heart Disease (CHD).
