It was a peasant who was not a slave
What does it mean to do homage?
It means to to show humility to the person who is over you

The king
Who are the second most important people in the feudal system?
The barons and bishops
Who were the third most important people in the feudal system?
Knights
Who were the least important people in the feudal system?
Peasants
What do barons and bishops have to do for the king?
They were required to appear at court, pay taxes and supply knights and soldiers to the king in time of war
What do knights have to do?
They were required to fight for their lord, supply 29 foot soldiers and supply money and food to the baron
What did the peasants have to do?
They were required to be loyal to a knight, fight for him and carry out duties
What did the church do?
They helped the king to run the country and teach everything obey the king
