- inequality is cultural not structural, and can be reformed through democratic process and socialisation
- believe we can change gender roles and attitudes In society

- exploitation is directly caused by men
- men are the enemy in public and private sphere
- all social structures are patriarchal

- radical libertarian: desire for gender inequality to be achieved
- radical cultural: believe women are superior and want to replace them
