Cervical Polyp
a extension of enocervical tissue- usually has a stalk. Is a major cause of post coital bleeding. Usually not cancerous
Nabothian Cysts
tiny benign cysts that form on the surface of cervix- do not needle or biopsy
Purpose of a PAP smear
to find dysplasia of cervical cells

relationship between the funds of the uterus and the vagina- normal is anteverted
flexion
relationship between the funds of the uterus and the cervix - think of the uterus as having a hinge at the cervical os
