Many different emotions one after another
I experienced a roller coaster of emotions when my son was born.
Very excited!
I was ridiculously excited about the prospect of becoming a dad.
Very happy
I’d imagined that everything would go smoothly and we’d be blissfully happy.
Very anxious
As time went by, I got increasingly anxious because the doctors weren’t telling me anything.
Ready to explode with anger
I was seething with anger, and I shouted at one of the nurses.
It was obvious that she was disappointed
My wife was visibly disappointed that i wasn’t by her side when she woke up from the surgery.
Keep your emotions hidden inside you
I am not really one to show my feelings; I prefer to bottle up my emotions.
