Q

Ruminal Acidosis

Q

Toxic Myocardial Degradation

A

Excessive use of ionophores. Can be due to accidental mixing or accidental incorporation.
Animals experience weakness, tremors, rapid heart rate, and death.
This closely resembles Brisket disease and unless altitude is not a factor there may be a hardship in diagnosing.

Q

Buller steer syndrome

A

Steers are repetitively mounted and ridden by other steers.
True-buller: stand there and act as if they are a heifer
Social-buller: less dominant from pennmates but cant escape
Result is lameness.
Don’t overcrowd pens and monitor pens for ballers
