Predator
Organisms that eat other organisms.
Prey
Organisms that are eaten by other organisms.

Shows the number of organisms at each trophic level.

Shows the biomass of organisms at each trophic level.
Primary consumer
Organisms that feed on producers (Herbivores)
Secondary consumer
Feed on primary consumers (Carnivores)
Tertiary consumer
Feed on secondary consumers (Carnvirores)
Omnivores
Consumers that eat plants & animals.
Carnivores
Consumers that only eat animals.
Herbivores
Primary consumers that only eat plants.
Food chain
Shows the flow of energy from one trophic level to the next, starting with a producer.
Food web
A network of connected food chains showing interdependence.
Pyramid of energy
Shows the amount of energy stored in organisms at each trophic level.
