A

The FSM/Captain must be advised and crewing must be contacted. The crew member will be stood down discreetly without prejudice and crewing must management will discuss the next steps with the crew member.

How do you evacuate via the escape hatch?

A
  1. Insert hand into recess
  2. Grab the release handle
  3. Pull down the handle
  4. Move the hatch handle to open position until the locking indicator reaches red position
  5. Pull the hatch inwards and downwards
  6. A damper slows the hatch whilst opening
  7. A knotted rope is stowed next to the hatch to evacuate the aircraft.
  8. Evacuation is possible both sides of aircraft
