You attended the being an Effective Leader workshop with him in fall of 2019. His advice for new team members new to a management role is to Ask for Feedback as to how your lead.

Pat started at North of 53 Co-op in Flin Flon back in 1977, which involved taking garbage out for the grocery department. His retail experience continued as a Grocery Manager and General Managers in various small communities across the prairies (MB, SK, AB) before becoming a FCL Retail Advisor in the Edmonton Region, then Associate VP for the Winnipeg Region.

Ron grew up on a farm in SK and started with the CRS as the Crop Supplies Retail Sales Co-ordinator in the Edmonton Region. Left in 2000 to complete an MBA from U of AB, before returning to FCL as an HR Manager in the Edmonton Region. Moved to Saskatoon for the Crop Supplies Marketing Manager role, Crop Protection Manager, Crop Supplies Director, Associate Vice-President of Ag and Home, and now VP of Ag and Consumer Business.

He’s excited to partner with growers to grow sustainable food and complete the virtuous circle of getting food from farm to fork via a Co-op grocery store - puts us in a differentiated space.

Gil started at the refinery in 1979 as a Process Relief Operator.
He envisions the future of the refinery shifting to low carbon economy specifically renewables. To do so, FCL purchased Terra Grain Fuels (ethanol plant) in 2019, and we’re looking at bio diesel (renewable diesel).

The energy business unit is responsible for everything upstream and downstream of the refinery: including crude oil production, exploration and development, supply and distribution of product from the refinery across western Canada, and wholesale of petroleum to retails.

Previously: Cal Fichter as of 2013 who retired at the end of January 31, 2020.
Started at the CRC in 1977.
