7
Q

what are the functions of superficial fascia

A

1 faccilitate the movement of skin over underlying structures
2 conserve body heat by acting as heat insulator
3 give the body the rounded smooth appearance

17
Q

functions of deep fascia

A
  • provide attachement to some muscles
  • inter muscular septa prevent the spread of puss and blood
  • aponeurosis in palm and planter protect the deep structures
  • retinacula hold the tendons in place to facilitate the actions of muscles
  • the investing fascia hold the muscles in placee so that when they contract they compress the fascia and veins in between them helping venous blood to return to the heart
