Meralgia paresthetica
A
Compression of the lateral femoral nerve (purely sensory).
- Clinical syndrome of pain, dysesthesia, or both in the anterolateral thigh.
- Eti: most: obesity, DM, older age
Tx: Spontaneous remission is frequent, reassure patient, measures to reduce pressure over the nerve.
