  • liaise with OC Investigations regarding the parameters of information to be share or held back from the family
  • what contact the family has had with police since incident/death
  • What information has been given to the family
  • What information is already Public
  • familiarise with Intel, previous police interactions
  • familiarize with Enquiry
  • familiarise with information concerning family including:
    *family dynamics
    *cultural/lifestyle considerations
    *religious beliefs
    *language/disability

Prior to court the FLO should? (WLCD)

  • WITNESS availability and any special requirements
