-Parasites of aquatic birds
-Usually occurs in the body cavity, air sacs, nasal cavity and respiratory tract
-Oral suckers is absent; ventral sucker may also be absent
-Intestinal Ceca may be simple or branched and are joined together posteriorly forming a complete ring
-Uterus contains eggs with miracidium
