Extend from the uterine horns and open into the peritoneal cavity

What is the infundibulum?
Funnel shaped distal end of tube that opens into the peritoneal cavity

Starts at medial end of the infundibulum

Thick walled part that enters the uterine horn
What is the uterine part?
Short intramural part that passes through the wall of the uterus and opens into the uterine cavity
