lubricate tube with the water soluble jelly,
instructed client to bend head forward ,
insert tube into nostril, advance backward.have client take sips of water, advancing tube while he or she swallows, when in place, tape appropriately

lubricant cone tipped irrigator and insert gentle into stoma,hold in a place slowly open clamp clamp if cramping occur
