Facing Limpers 22-35 BB Flashcards
Facing limpers 22-35 BB
What do we know how some people adjust at this stack depth?
Take care that you dont?
Avoid…?
Some people adjust by no longer limping at this stack depth (except tricky limpers)
Take care when raising that you dont commit too many chips, as a raise+cbet becomes a significant proportion of your chips.
Avoid raising where you will have to fold to an all-in
If your limp gets raised at 22-35 bb
What do you know about your pot odds?
What is ok to fold?
Your pot odds against a raise at this depth are often not good enough to call with pairs or conenctors.
…remember your stack is smaller and you need either 10:1 or 20:1 !
Folding moderate hands like ATo vs tricky limpers may now be advisable…although you might try an all in if you think their range is weak.
Facing multiple limpers at 22+35bb
Who is the most important limper?
Is bluffing still viable?
As there are more limpers and your stack decreases….?
The most important limper is the first one. Are they tricky? What is their range? Do they call too often?
Bluffing is still viable if you expect to have fold equity…but fold equity is lower/less often as stack sizes decrease.
As there are more limpers and stack sizes decrease, then all-in becomes more ideal.
For example vs 6 limpers at 20bb, you might go all in w ATo
