  • suggest that Child’s socialisation is based on association and condition between social behaviours and punishment, the child develops a conscience that prevents them from acting in anti-social ways
  1. a child is conditioned (socialised)
  2. child learns sens of right and wrong
  3. child avoids behaviour which leads to punishment
  4. child controls own impulse
