How do you treat dacrocystitis?
Mild-hot compress+massage+astringent eye drops
Severe-
1st- oral di/flucloxacillin or coamoxyclave
2nd - if immunocompromised- coamoxyclave
3rd - if orbital or facial cellulitis + - IV antibiotics
How do you treat stye/external hordeolum?
1.heat compress
2. Plucking the affected lash
3. If surrounding tissue inflamed- topical antibiotics-chloramphenicol
