how can copper be extracted using plants?
A
by phytomining, which is where you plant the plant and it absorbs the copper through its roots from the soil. then you burn the plant to produce ash containing a copper compound.

what is bioleaching?
A
some bacteria absorb the copper compound and they produce solutions containing copper compounds

what will happen if you put a reactive metal into a solution of a dissolved metal compound? why does this happen?
A
the most reactive metal will replace the less reactive metal
-this is because the more reactive metal bonds more strongly to the non metal bit of the compound and pushes out the less reactive metal
