when no individuals of a species remain
how will extinction occur
since the organisms are well adapted to their environment, if it changed then they will struggle to compete = struggle to survive and reproduce and if every individual is affected then they will be endangered
what is biodiversity
the variety of species that live on earth
why is it important to maintain biodiversity
if the species become extinct, it will affect the other organisms that rely on it to survive

e.g preventing destruction of their habitats
what is a gene bank
a store of genes of different species
how can you grow new plants in the future
seeds can be collected and stored in seed banks
how can you create new animal embryos in the future
by freezing sex cells and storing them
