Paragraph 1
1)The Keep - fell into ruin and has been rebuilt several times most recently in 1840s as purpose built student accommodation for university.
2)Stairway was changed in the keep as it was too narrow so it was widen so more than 1 person could go up and down at a time.
3)It is now a pentagon shape rather than being square like it was originally.
4)Therefore, it was changed to accommodate students.
Paragraph 2
The Great hall - windows were widened to make it lighter as it would now be used every day for the student meals. Also a big Stained Glass window added to celebrate
the 50th year anniversary of the university.
Therefore it was changed to make it more practical.
Paragraph 3
The Gatehouse - a bell was added so that students could be let in at night. A small door added so that they could come in without opening the whole gate.
Therefore it was changed to make it suit student lifestyles.
