Paragraph 2 (features changed)

A

Impossible:
-A lot of it changed later on by tutors and victorians
-The Gateway was widened and moved by the prince bishops in Tudor period
-The keep was rebuilt in 1840s - it was Victorian interpretation of a Norman keep
-The great hall was shortened and stained glass was added by the university
-This makes it hard to tell that it was originally a fortress as it now resembles a place and a university building due to changes

Paragraph 3 (natural defences)

A

Possible:
-natural defences make it clear why a castle was built there
-The natural defences are still there like the hill it was built on, the river surrounding it, the motte with the keep on top, the sally-port is still there used for escape during attacks
-Therefore it is still clear that it was first used for defence
