‘Application’ means using words or numbers from the business information you were given.

E.g. If you’ve been told that someone sells furniture,
don’t write
…when they sell their products
But do write
…when they sell their furniture to get the application mark.

*Only when the exam question includes a word to do with the previous business described or its products
