Recurring thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors (compulsions) that individuals feel compelled to perform
Post traumatic stress disorder
Develops after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event.
Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety, and uncontrollable thoughts about the event
Major depressive disorder
Persistent feelings of sadness, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, difficulty sleeping, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, and thoughts of death or suicide

Someone’s ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving are different from what’s considered normal by society

Learn to believe that nothing can change or can be done

A person experiences a loss of touch with reality, often including hallucinations and delusions

Disturbances in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Symptoms may include hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and reduced emotional expression
Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder
Preoccupation with order and details that results in the person missing the point of an activity
Binge eating disorder
Significant binge episode, followed by guilt or disgust
Antisocial personality disorder
-Limited capacity for empathy
-Disregard for “right” and “wrong”
-Disregard for violation of the rights of others
-Childhood diagnosis of conduct disorder
Narcissistic personality disorder
A need for admiration, and a lack of empathy for others, inflated sense of self-importance, a constant need for attention
Neurodevelopmental disorder
Affect brain function, causing difficulties in behavior, learning, and social interaction, typically begin in childhood and persist into adulthood
Autism spectrum disorder
Affects communication, behavior, and social interaction- challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, and difficulties in verbal and nonverbal communication
