Recipient: Jews and Gentiles who have come to faith in Christ.

Probably through Jewish converts at Pentecost who came back to Rome with the Gospel.
- What is different about Paul’s relationship to the Roman believers from most of his other letters’ recipients? How does that difference affect the purpose of Romans?
