widened AC joint
slight elevation of the clavicle
patho - disrupted AC and CC
distal clavical is unstable to horizontal stress
reduclible
radio - disrupted AC and CC
moderate elevation of the clavicle
patho - posterior displacement through the traps
not reducible
radio - - posterior displacement through the traps
axillary view shows posterior displacemnt
patho - rupture of the deltoidtrapzial fascia
clavicle is palpable subcustaneously
not reducible
radio- rupture of the deltoidtrapzial fascia
the clavicle is elvated
patho - inferior displacment of the distal clavicle under the conjoined tendon
associated with rib fractures and neurovascular injury
radio - inferior displacment of the distal clavicle under the conjoined tendon
clavicle is in the subacromial or subcoracoid position
