Bankruptcy
A
- Insolvency of insured does not relieve insurer of duty to policy obligations
- Insurer must pay claims, defend insured, make settlements, regardless of insured financial condition

Duties in the Event of Occurrence Offense, Claim or Lawsuit
A
- Insured fails in these duties; can relieve insurer from paying claims
- Notice must be given to insurer as soon as practical
- Can be written or oral

- Name, and location of any damage or injury
- Insured must notify insurer ASAP
- Immediately forward any legal papers received in connection with the lawsuit
- Authorize insurer to obtain any legal papers in connection with the suit
