* tonic-clonic seizures
* partial seizures

Side effects:
* drowsiness
* gingival hyperplasia
* Steven-Johnson Syndrom
* nystagmus (toxicity)

Administration:

* IV: administer slowly
* Extended release: should not be crushed
* do not give w milk
