For example, understanding hostile attribution biases has been used in the treatment of offenders and anger management courses. Prisoners have been taught to interpret behaviour in a more rational way and think about their biases before responding.

It ignores that FAE is not universal. It has not been shown in all countries. It is more likely to occur in countries with individualistic cultures such as the UK and USA. It has not been shown in collectivist cultures such as China. People in collectivist cultures are more likely to attribute behaviour to the situation.
