Manorial System
Also known as the Feudalism system. The Manorial system is comprised of Kings > Nobles > Knights > peasants.
Lord’s and Fiefs
Own and rent out land.
Vassals and Homage
Vassals manage the land, and pay homage from the land to their Lord.

Work the land
Medieval warmness period
Warm period in History that allowed farms to produce more grain and food thus allowing population to increase.
Urbanization
serfs moving into cities and urban centers
Guilds
insured product quality and also controlled the production of products and could increase and limit production
Merchants
travelled around selling goods outside of guilds.
Merchant towns
founded by Merchants who got charters form lords to found towns, sold goods freely.
Types of Cities:
City States, Imperial Cities, Capital Cities, Merchant Towns.
