God reconciled himself to people through the sacrifice of his son on the cross and his forgiveness of humans is possible bcos of Jesus’ death. Jesus also forgave those who mocked and crucified him. We remember the sacrifice through sharing of blood and wine

Some may argue no-one should try to make you change your mind, most Christians would say people have the right to choose for themselves. A Christian may share their own faith with others, simply making them aware of their relationship with god. The choice is then there’s to act on the information.
