Beneficence and nonmaleficence
A
- strive to benefit those we work with and take care to do no harm
- avoid/minimize harm
- alert and guard factors (e.g., social, political, that might lead to use of their influence

- uphold professional standard of conduct
- clarify their professional roles and obligations
- accept appropriate responsibility for their behavior
