No, the mother can refuse interventions even if this will harm the baby
Up to what gestation can you get an abortion for social reasons?

Up to 23 weeks and 6 days for social reasons
Up to any stage of labour for medical reasons
After 22 weeks how is an abortion carried out?
Potassium chloride is injected into the heart, ensure baby is dead then labour is induced
