what is a duty/rules-bases approach
not acceptable to cause immediate or temporary harm in the pursuit of a potential greater outcome
virtues based approach
people may considered things right or wrong depending on their backgrounds
Integrity
searching for knowledgeable and understanding of honest sources, favourable or not, to contribute to public knowledge
justice
the moral obligation to ensure fairness across the benefits of the actions
beneficence
maximising benefits and minimising risks and harm
non-maleficence
involves avoiding or reducing of possible harm
respect
involves consideration of the effected things: consent, welfare, perceptions etc
