Valid, legally recognized claim or entitlement encompassing both freedom from government interference or discriminatory treatment and entitlement to a benefit or service.
Values
individual believes ethical and quality work by following principles and standards.
Values Clarification
process of examining alternatives & deciding what is important for oneself.
Moral
our own principles, distinguish as right or wrong
Utilitarianism
action based on the end result that produces the greatest good for the most people.
Kantianism
decisions & actions are bound by the sense of duty.
Christian ethic
do unto others as you would have them done unto you.
Natural law theories
humans are born with a certain moral compass that guides behavior, which distinguishes right from wrong.
Ethical egoism
the promotion of ones own good is in accordance with morality/it’s always moral to promote one’s own god and never moral not to promote is = refusing to help someone
Ethical Dilema
Conflict between two or more courses of action. Taking no action is considered an action taken.
