What is erythroderma?
A
Presence of a rash covering >95% of the body surface

What are some of the causes of erythroderma?
A
Eczema Psoriasis Drugs e.g. gold Lymphoma/leukaemias Idiopathic

What is the management of erythroderma?
A
Identify underlying cause -if a medication then stop it -emollients and mild corticosteroid If it is acute -hospital admission -IV fluids and restoration of electrolyte balance -monitor temp -sedative anti-histamines
