Q

What does Kc represent?

A

If it’s bigger than 1 means reaction produces more of the products on the right

If it is smaller than 1 it produces more of the reactants on the left side

Also when using Kc input the concentrations of the reactants and products

Q

How to find a partial pressure?

A

Find what percentage (in decimal) of moles of gas there is that you are looking at compared to total moles of gas. Then multiply this by the total pressure

Q

How to calculate equilibrium moles of all reactants and products

A

Draw a table with initial moles and equilibrium moles

The reactants will have the initial moles of what number is in front of them, and the products will have 0 moles

Then you will be given the equilibrium moles of one of them. Look at this change compared to the amount of moles, and apply this to everything, so there will be a decrease in equilibrium moles compared to initial in products, and an increase for product equilibrium moles
