Appears @ 5M (Persist)
Stimulus:
Baby on tilt board & raise 1 side/surface
Purpose:
Spine will curve on raised side; both arms & legs will extend & abduct
Helps Maintain Equilibrium w/o arm support; ability to make postural adjustments
Supine Tilting
Equilibrium Reflex
Onset/Integration:
Appears @ 7-8 M
Stimulus:
Baby in supine on tilt board & raise 1 side
Purpose:
Spine will curve on raised side; both arms & legs will extend & abduct

Quadruped Tilting

Appears @ 9-12M
Stimulus:
Baby on all 4’s on tilt board & raise 1 side
Purpose:
